Envelhecer Magazine interviewed the CEO of THE Design, Teresa Pimentel
Our project has been working for 15 years with the aim of contributing to the Active, Healthy and Happy Aging of society. The project #THENewYoung was created with the aim of raising awareness in a society that is increasingly "ageless".
The New Young
Nowadays, with average life expectancy increasing, a new customer segmentation has emerged: New Young People. This group has a lot of experience, high self-esteem and a lot to offer society. They stand out for their energy and desire to stay active.
A Project for Everyone
This project was designed for those people who, regardless of their age, feel YOUNG, dreamy, full of energy, strength to live and a great desire to continue discovering the world. Age has become just a number and does not stop them from doing what they want. In a few years, these NEWYOUNG will represent almost half of the working-age population in Europe.
Focus on Self-Esteem and Well-Being
Teresa Pimentel, CEO of THE Design, highlighted several important points during the interview: "Our clients are, for the most part, women between 40 and 80 years old, mature, experienced and active."
She explained that "our publications, through older women, with signs of maturity and bodies that are no longer teenagers, demonstrate that by valuing who we are and what we have to offer, we can be very elegant and glamorous. We believe that design, quality and comfort promote well-being and self-esteem. Self-esteem is fundamental for an active and happy life."
Concluding the interview, Teresa stated: "If we can contribute to helping people increase their self-esteem and take care of themselves, I think the bet is winning!"
