We have supported the ENCONTRAR+SE se Association since 2006. The ENCONTRAR+SE mission is to contribute to the promotion of mental health and provide access to best practices in the treatment of mental illness.
The association also aims to combat the stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness in our society, which prevents open discussion, assistance and effective treatment of mental health conditions.
The association's philosophy is based on a scientific model that favors a contextualized intervention perspective, prioritizing a model of community action. Additionally, it defends an “empowerment” perspective, promoting the active participation of clients (people with mental illness and their families) in
various processes related to recovery and reintegration. This approach aims to maximize effectiveness and return active, contributing individuals to society.
