THE Project has opened the charity exhibition Árvores Vigilantes do Tempo as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations.
We welcomed friends and partners from the fields of art, fashion, music, design, and architecture to celebrate this poetic and moving exhibition by artist Fátima Carvalho.
In this exhibition, the ancient Oliveira do Mouchão becomes the protagonist. Through a series of small photographic canvases, Fátima Carvalho captures its presence and permanence. A visual meditation on the beauty of maturity and the resilience of nature.
Each work is available for purchase, signed by the artist, and accompanied on the reverse by previously unpublished texts from authors Valter Hugo Mãe, Rosa Alice Branco, and Maria do Carmo Serén. The result is a dialogue between image and word, a narrative that invites visitors to stop, read and reflect.
In addition to its poetic dimension, this exhibition carries a profound sense of purpose. All proceeds from the sale of the works will go to Casa do Artista in the North of Portugal, reinforcing our commitment to culture and to those who bring it to life.
Founded by Helena Almeida and Teresa Pimentel in 2005, THE Project bridges art, fashion and culture through a unique curation of exclusive creations by designers from around the world, transcending trends to offer timeless.
We move forward together, celebrating art with purpose!
