Bergnerschmidt are Lily Bergner and Elisabeth Schmidt, two Berlin based designers who have been exploring the fascinating geometry of objects in a collaboration which began in 2009. Seeking out a bold departure for their collections, they began to experiment with concrete,
a material that inspired them with its limitations but also with its striking new possibilities in form. Contrary to the cliche of being cold, hard and heavy, the duo presents the material in
a delicate, smooth and light fashion, resulting in jewellery that breathes and changes with the person who wears it.
