The CRIADOR ESAD@THE project results from the dynamic collaboration between ESAD/Escola de Artes e Design and THE DESIGN. Started in 2009, this project began with a partnership with the Jewelry and Arts Course under the coordination of jeweler Ana Campos, seeking to strengthen the role of design in jewelry through a free and transversal creation approach.
During challenging times like the ones we live in, CREATOR ESAD@THE emphasizes the importance of debate about the role of design and the arts. This project encourages an innovative and adaptable view of design, where experimentation and questioning future needs are central. Students on the Jewelry and Arts Course have the opportunity to develop their skills in a real environment, applying their skills in creative projects and exhibiting their jewelry in the THE store.
This project acts as a talent incubator. CREATOR ESAD@THE shapes future leaders and innovators in the world of design and arts, providing an opportunity for their work to be appreciated and recognized by a wider audience.
